Will Richardsdon says the best way to find the potential of Weblogs as a teaching and learning tool is to become a blogger. So, that's what I'm going to do. From today on. Look at me- I'm blogging!! Boy, that was easy.
Seriously though, like anything else new we try to do, there is a learning curve attached and a period of getting comfortable. For me, the hardest part of blogging is formulating my thoughts into a cohesive statement that gets transferred to print. I am curious about who else is reading my thoughts, especially when I don't know they are doing it. I like getting feedback.

hey erin, for me getting in the habit of reflecting on a reading (or video or whatever), long enough to get a handle on my reaction to it and why I feel the way I do is hard. i have to admit that the more i blog or post to other blogs, the easier it seems to get. if only i could get beyond the feeling that what i think or have to say is not really worthy of someone else's time.
ReplyDeletein the mean time, i'm going to work at making blogging a habit, how can i ask my future students to publish for the www if i can't or won't?!?!
That's agreat idea. Blogging does need to become a habit. I just do not always feel comfortable publishing the inane thoughts in my head. It is more difficult for me to write for a wider audience too. I will talk to anyone about anything, but in this medium I am self-consious. I'll get over it.
